if i was their coach i would run a new offense called "give it to trey" /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Trey gets his touches and yeah, he's got to score some, but don't discount the other guys in their roles. Horkins and Dansby will provide some scoring and Kendrick Jones is going to be a force down low. He's put on some muscle and can run the floor really well for a post. Crowe and McMullin will score within their roles. Trey's impressed me as as leader so far. That was something that needed to happen after losing 7 seniors last year. This years team is not as experienced and their bench might not be as deep but the team chemistry has improved imo. There's some talented young guys coming up too that are going to get some P.T.

Harpeth is fairly multiple on what they run. Some dribble drive motion on offense and man to man on defense.

Harpeth beat Kenwood by about 20 tonight. 68-48 plus or minus either way. Trey Caruthers had 31 with 2 dunks and Perry Horkins got his first dunk in competition. The Indians looked good tonight. A lot of guys played. I was a little disappointed in the crowd. A lot of students must be out of town. Harpeth's got a very good Livingston Academy team tomorrow night at 8:30, girls game before that and Sycamore plays Kenwood in the twilight doubleheader to start off the evening.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
