I read a biography of ELA on Wikipedia just a minute ago. Here it is.

 

 

 

I thought he coached at Celina too, but it doesn't say that in there.

 

I think there is also a Mississippi school mixed in, too, and maybe one in Texas. What is this, 5 schools in five years or six in six?

That's interesting. Here is a link to the Texas high school football hall of fame inductees. I don't see any Watson Myers listed.

ELA was justing posting that 5 yrs was the last time to promote himself. You will always have the same conversations over there. It is the same way at most places.

In your opinion, why do you think FC always have the same conversations there? Just curious. I see it too. I have lived in FC and a past alumni of FC. I now live in another area, but work in Tullahoma. It is the same at other places to an extent, just something underlying I can't put my finger on at FC. No doubt, SC fought back and came within one point of tying the game before halftime. I felt bad about the loss but we knew Smith County would give us a great game and the two fumbles cost us the game by providing them with great field position to score.

I know the Rebel faithful desperately wanted a win last night for Homecoming and we certainly felt like we should have won after putting 28 points on the board and accumulating over 380 yards of offense but it was not to be! Turnovers have plagued us throughout the season! We will regroup and prepare for the JETS... then see who we play in two weeks... possibly Siegel. Strange things can happen in the second season where everyone starts 0-0 with a fresh start...

Reading this press release and about the pre-game show, how many people do you see in the stands at 6:30? Senior night is on Halloween, the pre-game show will be a big disapointment for those boys.

They also do sr night for the band members, cheerleaders and dance team, so you will have mostly parenst and a few of the faithfuls. Some teams do it at half time.

Ela...the Rebels last made it to the playoffs in 05. Your press release said they had not been in 5 yrs. Mantooth took them there very year but one. Britton was unable to get them there in his two yrs. Get your facts straight.
