If,FARRAGUT stops the owls running attack, the ADS win 14-0 or less.,.but if ol' Reed every gets going owls could do enough to beat em. PREDICTION: Farragut 21-7 only,IF they stop POLK and his fellow running backs.A VERY BIG IF!!!! owls run over or around 150+ they win about the same as last game. WHO KNOWS,ITS PLAY-OFF TIME

Who wins this? IDK but as a maryville fan I will tell you that it is hard to beat the same team twice in the same year. Especially a good team like Farragut. Everybody gets complacent, fans, coaches, and especially players

One of Coach Monroes' biggest challenges this week will be to make his kids believe that Farragut can beat them.

should be a great ballgame but don't be surprised if the Ads come out on top.

After last night? I don't think Monroe will have to tell his team much. Soddy came to play,Soddy had a plan(it wasn't the same plan as last time),Soddy stopped Ooltewah's run game,SODDY ALMOST WON!!! But they didn't,owls were better on defense, owls had better special teams this time, owls won(thank god) this game with farragut will be just like the soddy game.Hope not, but, all,I want is a win. Go OWLS!!!!

It is the way it has been for years with the playoff system like it is. In the Ooltewah Farragut match ups history shows that one teams usually beats the other twice. Year before last we beat them twice. Before that they beat us twice. We just beat Soddy twice. Farragut just beat Mcminn twice this year. It is just how it has been. So yes it is harder when you play someone twice in one season, but then again you are playing the same players and coaches as you did before. I have Owls winning this one 27-21. GO OWLS

The old saying is to leave it all on the field and Soddy did just that last night. I don't think they could have played any better. They had a great run this year and E.K. Slaughter should be up for coach of the year with what he has done with that program. The Owls are winners and they just find a way to win. In NO WAY will they be over looking the Admirals. I see this being another nail biter Friday night with the Owls coming out on top. I would also like to state, #36 FOR THE OWLS IS THE UNDISPUTED BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER IN THE STATE. And #7 of Soddy might just be the best two way player in the state.

Go OWLS!

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
