MidTennFootball
FYI- on Sat night no one will be allowed on the MTSU field so it's great to have your team come to YOUR fans' side to celebrate rather than sprint to the opposing side to grab your crotches and taunt. Good luck to both teams. I am rooting for Franklin and don't see how they can be beat, but I admit I haven't seen Oakland but am hearing alot so if you do win, Pros to you, you will have earned it. Only 27 hours to go. To everyone involved, enjoy the experience, you'll always remember it...win or lose, trust me, I've been thru both. Every team can be beaten. Just with some you have to look a little bit harder for weaknesses than others.

I completely agree and if they pull it off, I'll be impressed and the 1st to congradulate them.

I just think its a bit overblown about how Oakland really hasnt won any big games when it could not be further from the truth. Riverdale, Smyrna twice, and obviously Ooltewah, were all games where there was a big piece of doubt whether or not Oakland would be able to win. Both Oakland and Franklin are similar in that they both have had big targets on their backs all year long and both of their losses were where they were in control late, only to lose the game. In terms of scheme and how they play, Oakland and Franklin are different, but they are alike more than folks know, and that is why both of them are here. Actually, it's never really known how good each team is related to the other because they usually have no common opponents. WhiteStation appeared strong, but apparently their region was not as strong as region 6. It will be interesting to see which team can bring home the gold ball. I'm hoping for a good (close) game as the 1A and 2A games tonight are rather boring.

ftballkicker
morning of... I'm sure many of the players are lying restlessly in bed and won't recieve too much sleep tonight. Ateast that's how it was for me four years ago. Good luck to both teams. I'm obviously pulling for FranklnliN but I honestly hope for a good hard fought close game. Each team deserves to be here. Franklin fans be careful on the 30 minute(ish) drive. It will seem much longer. Oakland fans you obviously dont have far to drive but still be safe travelng. The atmosphere should be great. Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow night!
bellgo
OVERTIME....maybe 2....Oakland wins by 3 Hmmm....overtime would not be bad. I don't think we've ever had overtime in a title game. If we have, it's been a while.

sleeper3773
Thought about it for a long time and came to the conclusion Franklin is bringing home the Gold Ball. Should be a great game that could go either way, however Franklin will do what they have to to get the victory. Franklin 24 Oakland

Lost Old Dad
Finally game day. Both teams have worked hard to get here and they deserve the recognition that goes with it. For some it will be the final game they play, for others it is a beginning. Reguardless what it is the main thing is relish it for the memories will last a lifetime. Young Men I hope you have a safe game and that EVERYONE comes thru injury free. For me I am going to admit I am pulling for Oakland to win. They have the weapons and the skills to do it. For both teams, HAVE FUN and play hard. Go Pats and bring home the GOLD!
