Somebody loan the Principal a coin to flip. May not be scientific, but it would get you some kind of decision at least.

He is apparently incapable of that, and his committee people have followed his lead. When they do actually make a decision, that could be worse, but I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

So you have a huge problem with who we have but you have no one in mind. Some of your posts are posts about nothing.

there is this book called the one minute Manager, it says if you bring a problem to the table, make sure you bring a propossed solution, otherwise it is just complaining.

I'm not complaining about your post here. I have a solution. You should check out a book called The One Minute Speller.

blade, wrong again, no JS here. You guys are funny. I sure hope our "committee" doesn't screw this up, I'm getting more than a little worried about the outcome of this "search".

Keith Guthrie played some qb in '87. I think both he and Gary Johnson played qb that year.

Jerry Colquitt played against us in the '87 playoffs. It did not go well for him /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Don Colquit played receiver and his brother Jerry was the QB and then went on to UT only to get hurt his senior year opening the door for Peyton Manning. Don has coached at Jefferson the last 2 years but I'm not so sure he'll be back, he rubbed a lot of the parents the wrong way and there were a ton of complaints to the AD at Jefferson. At least that's what I heard from other Jefferson coaches. The kids just didn't respond to his style I guess.

The TB we are referring to is Tom Bailey I believe. KG was either Ken Greene or Keith Guthrie.

Yes, you are correct he did play receiver, he was before my time.

Not wanting to get too complicated for you to follow here, but......maybe Jackie Pope, Lawrence, or 50 others in OR that have a strong football background that could help. Maybe even some professional search guy??¦..Duh.

Ole Dad

Who do you want to see on the committee? A football guy? Barry Saunders & Ron Gray are the only two I can think of right now, Ron can't, so that would leave one football guy there. Who do you have in mind?

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
    • hey goat! how’s monterey looking this year?!
    • several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
