My only question is does this mean the privates and publics are going to be together again? Secondly, does it mean there will be something on PAPER to say HOW the 'WILD CARD' teams will be chosen? Third, will this mean that the schools will have something to say when something as major as things like the 'Z' plan are going to be implimented?

 

Like the Chinese proverb says, "We are living in interesting times.".

 

1. No. The split is not going away. It will only get bigger.

2. Who knows? It is a stupid idea anyway.

3. The schools already had a say when they elected their represenatives. If you do not bother to vote, you should not bother to complain.

If you want TSSAA decisions to be made by referendum, then propose an amendment to the TSSAA constitution to do away with the Legislative Council and the Board of Control... and be prepared to spend a whole lot more of your time dealing with things that others presently take care of for you, including many that you may not care much about but will now have to take time and energy to address. And then also be prepared to be criticized by all those who, however ill-informed or uninformed, disagree with you.

Let's not forget the state volleyball tourney this year played in a high school gym across the main courts( 2 games going on side by side)..what a joke /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

Some people shouldn't have a computer much less an account on CoachT....Say positive things and realize that the job Ronnie has done has been under constant ridicule for 23 years. Have I agreed with every decision that has been passed down no. Live with it and go on.

 

Besides, football gets every benefit from the reclassification. They will have 8 state champions. Basketball only has 5 and more teams play basketball....

Perhaps, you are one of those kiss butt lackeys that have been part of the elitest biased supporters of Carter.

 

And I do have an opinion and a right to say what I think on here. I pay my $ 12 just like every else so I say what I please. I have identified myself on coacht sevreral times so I am not hide behind a screen name.

 

I have had my issues with him as a coach and an administrative person. But I will not air out all the dirty laundry because I do wish to use kids names.

 

So if you support him, say so. But if you are like me and glad to see him go, feel free to say so as well.

 

As far as that ocean front property, I couldnt even afford it in Flintville with my paltry salary as an educator. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

 

First, you chose to be an educator just like many others; however, many of us don't complain about the salary because we chose the profession. That statement just shows your negative attitude! Secondly, I did and do support him. Finally, I kiss no one's butt; I simply support and respect hard work when I see it. There are three kinds of people in this world: those who do, those who watch it get done, and those who don't even know it happened. You are the kind that watch it get done and then complains about it. If you don't like it, get involved to change it. Don't sit in the stands and object to every call. Get on the "field" and demonstrate how to do it right.

According to the Tennessean, the new director was voted in almost immediately. That has to tell you something about the guy. When all of his peers are ready to name him that quickly, he has to be a stand up guy. They probably were wanting him to be there anyway.

Carter has gave much service to sport but has stop many kids from reaching the top. I,ve watch him push his wieght around and I think this is the best thing that could happen. They are getting alot of heat from member school, which as no say soo in TSSAA eyes, but they knew the flame was getting hotter. Great move by the TSSAA but nothing is going to change until they let member School vote on Hardship and those type of items, instead of giving one man all that power. I would have to say alot of people are very happy even the coaches who will never admit it. But Hitler is leaving the building.Member school need to stand up and fight back and not let Brentwood have to do it by thereself.
