Unaka got games in yesterday and today we beat Providence monday 8-3 Chambers got the win he threw a 3 hit complete game and peterson had another big day at the plate today we beat UH 6-1 Pierce got the win Jordan Taylor hit a 3 run shot we play 2morro night at Sullivan East thursday against Chuckey Doak and Friday at Cloudland

 

 

 

Dang it Coach Shelton, I wanted to see how Hancock stacked up with District 1. How did the Cloudland game go? My sources have failed me again tonight? Did you get to play?

anyone play 2day Unaka beat CD 4-2 scoring all 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th got Cloudland tomorrow last conference game

 

 

 

I think NG was off. (I looked at the TSSAA schedule). They may have had a makeup? UH got beat by West Greene but I don't know the score? Heard it was bad. I think NG and UH play tomorrow at NG. Again, according to TSSAA site Hampton plays Cloudland on Tuesday.

 

Any changes please post. Has the standings for the season started taking shape for 2-4? Is the tournament site set yet?

There are a few scenarios to the 2-4 seeding. Today's game between UH and North Greene will determine a lot about the seedings.

 

Senario 1--North Greene defeats UH today and Hampton defeats Cloudland on Tuesday, then creekerballer's seeding predictions will be correct.

 

Senario 2-- UH defeats NG and Hampton defeats Cloudland, then 2-4 will have identical conference records of 4-4 and then it would go to a coin flip to determine seedings.

 

Senario 3-- UH defeats NG and Hampton loses to Cloudland, then Hampton would be fourth seed.

 

Senario 4-- NG defeats UH and Hampton loses to Cloudland, then UH and Hampton would be in a coin flip for the 3rd seed with identical 3-5 records.

 

All of this is starting to hurt my head lol... Good luck to all teams for the rest of the season and in the District Tournament.

Are you sure UH has played Cloudland twice. I believe they have a makeup game so that would factor in as well. LOL

I agree with you Coach. I was actually just throwing those scenarios in to try to prove a point that it is too early to tell how the standings will fall. Plus I was tired of typing any more scenarios lol.

I have a report tonight from the Huskies. They beat UH 7-2. So, the only spots up for grabs are 3-4. Both Hampton and UH have Cloudland but if Hampton wins they wrap up 3rd at 4-4 I think. The only scenario out there is if they lose and UH wins.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
