And Matthews for Livingston was killed as she let the shot go in the final 2 seconds. . .no call.

King,

That was three years ago, and it was still a great game to watch. I'm not going to get into the argument that you are trolling for. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

In 2006.

No argument friend. Just saying.

I probably have you confused with another fan that I jousted with back then. There are a lot of missed calls both ways in every game. There was a bogus charging call on our senior point guard late in that game too. See how it works? LOL

You know we'll probably draw each other in the first round. What do you know about Gibson? I saw them get completely shelled last year at the 'boro by Marshall County. This year, Gibson is just annihilating everybody.

No, that sounds like it would have been great to see. Softball continued until late afternoon and I didn't want to risk going all the way over there and not getting a ticket.

Thanks for clearing up the no-call, I re-read that and noticed it said Livingston and thought some girl from Polk laid out one of his players tonight, just that he put in the wrong topic.

Nope. Yeah well, the charge was questionable, she didn't have much room to come down but still.

Really man, come on - LA is back at the Boro, and if I remember a Championship game LA vs. MCentral a few moons back, McMinn Central got hosed the whole last half, it was unbelievable. You took home the Gold that year, so let it go man.

Guys, let's not do this.

We are both proud of our teams. We've played in some tough, intense games through the last few years because McMinn Central and Livingston are almost always in contention through at least the sectionals/substate. thug dadi and Big Daddy have even become buddies in the last couple of years.

I have it from a source very close to Gabby that the cornea is scratched. She had a medicated contact put in for a couple of days, and some eye drops for the next five. Should be feeling a lot better by tomorrow, and ready to play by Wednesday. Also, Kelsie McNutt had a sprained ankle.

Gabby went out after just about 4 minutes in the first quarter. Kelsie went out at the start of the second half. Great effort by the rest of the team to bring the win home. Just goes to show the depth of Central. Loosing two starters and still beating a good team like Upperman. Great effort.

See all the faithful Blue at the boro.

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
