Yes, I believe CA will be fired up and focused on this game---I believe Williams will do well but look for MT. P to keep it close and dunk it a few times. I believe CA will win by 4-5.

The tech on the coach was ridiculous. How many times do you see a coach get a technical in the first quarter for hollering "WALK" when he thinks a call is missed? Coaches do that all of the time. The same official called all three techs.

 

It's really difficult to see which team is better. I think the two teams shot over 60 free throws in the game. And these are 2 of the top 3 teams in the district. Kind of hard for any team to get in a flow when they call the game that tight.

 

But there was a great atmosphere is the gym. Could just be that everyone had cabin fever.

I didnt say i agreed with the techs i was just stating the facts of the game.. 1 tech was for slapping the backboard.. You are right 60 plus fouls and could have been more.. Great high school atmosphere..

I just want to let everybody know that nobody needs to count Hampshire out. They lost to richland 70-56 but heading into the 4th quarter they were only down by one. Go look at the standings and you will see Hampshire is dead last. They were not even "supposed" to be in the game but they hung with richland until the 4th quarter. Come district tournament time I wouldn't sleep on Hampshire. They could upset any of the top four teams.

Doubt it....they are done. They have been done for weeks. They caught Richland the night after a physical, close game. Obviously they were tired, and still won by double-digits. I dont see 6 or 7 upsetting anyone in the tournament.

Game is being played tonight. The girls will start at 6:00pm picking up at the start of 2nd quarter. Then there will be Sr Night before the boy’s game.

 

I'm also wondering about # 23 from MTP if he will play. I was at SH the other night when the issue took place. He didn't play the 2nd half of that game although the MTP administrators wanted to wait until after the game to deal with the issue. SH administrators took action at halftime.
