Dude, I was using the name Obama because he likes for people who don't agree with him to keep their mouth shut. Or in other words that is the only way he can win a argument. I was not even thinking of you. But, since your here let me school you a little. The reason DB lost to McMinn Co. last year is because he went way to consertative with his play calling in the second half. Two many 3 & outs, the defense was on the field most of the second half and they got wore out. Then the totally stupid trick or treat play at the end of the game sealed DB's fate. We played against better teams than McMinn Co. last year when Chris never set foot on the field and won easily. (Bearden, Tennessee High). So there.

What happened to all the postings early in the year by South fans?

 

Did they quit after one loss?

 

I'm sure they are saving them for after the first round of the playoffs........

 

Yeah, cause they don't play DB in the first round.

 

Don't worry guys, South hasn't got their fill of crow and will come back for another heapin' helpin' in due time!

UR right on about CS going over 200 yds. in the first half in the

McMinn CO. game but he could have played in the second half,he

wasn't hurt/injured that bad.He was working out on the sidelines.

GC decided he had the game in the bag,and didn't need CS

So DB lost,because lack of play calling,period. The intentional

holding plays that DB called to HOLD EM OFF failed. Whats UR

Point? DB is having a off year,that happens. THS is the team around

here this year.Get over it. Give DB a can of corn for playing a

tough schedule as BatMan and Robin keeps telling us about.

I would hold my hype down as much as possible etathlete. South may end up being the "team around here this year". They have so much crow to eat at South that they may be saving some for the Tennessee High folks.

Very good article online on JC Press about memorial stadium. Hi-lighted some hi profile games of the past. I can imagine that closing memorial is bitter sweet. I know it is really run down and it will be exciting having a new stadium on campus at Science Hill. Lots of memories and history between your 2 schools. Just thought I'd mention it if you haven't seen the article.

Early poster BT#2Mom still here.... good luck with Science Hill. Are the DB kids all better from flu? A few of ours are feeling it this week. I had dinner with my DB & Jefferson girlfriends last night and I enjoyed the crow from Riverfront. I've found it's best to eat it while it's hot! OM
