alcoafan72
Alcoa fans.... Are you satisfied with our hometown paper's coverage of this week's games? You guys got 2 articles yesterday and Maryville got 1 today. There are 4 articles about crime in Monroe Co in today's paper. Since when did their readers care more about meth labs, car theft, rape, and domestic hostages in Monroe Co than hometown teams competing in the quarterfinals. I hope they are selling papers in Monroe Co because I am dropping my subscription. Murfreesboro's paper has 5 articles today and has had 1 or 2 each day this week. I bet Elizabeton's paper supports their programs. NO, I AM NOT SATISFIED! I can't imagine anyone would be satisfied with the coverage by the Daily Times from either Maryville or Alcoa's program. I'm in the Washington DC area so I depend on Dailytimes.com and Coacht to keep up. I have been clicking all week to find something much to my chagrin. I hope you guys write letters to the editor

Tornadofan15
Looking forward to the game , You know you have pretenders and contenders , I think E town are pretenders and have NO idea what coming . The F-5 is coming and going to leave Etown wondering what happened , I think score is going to be 42 to 7 Alcoa . But don't be surprised if not worse and the mercy rule comes into play . ChaunceyGardiner
I am not one of the Alcoa supporters predicting a blowout. On the other hand, I think the Elizabethton boosters predicting 30+ points for the Cyclones are also being unrealistic. My opinion is that the game will be similar to Alcoa's games with CAK and Loudon. Alcoa 21 Elizabethton

avlcyclone
Well it looks like it's about time to put up or shut up. Let's see if y'all can play as well as you can sling the b.s. I wish ALL the kids playing tonight a safe game, a safe trip to our Alcoa guests and most of all a victory for the hardest working team in the state of Tennessee, the ELIZABETHTON CYCLONES! GO BETSY GO!

Then again smith county had that confidence along with others from years past.
