This is the thread where you congratulate White Station on winning the 6A State Championship. Let me give you an example.

This is not the thread where you take out your frustration on Maryville because your team hasn't played since Halloween.

I read the whole Maryville/White Station thread and I didn't see any Maryville poster being disrespectful. Big Hairy Owl is a Ooltewah fan. Volunteer Coach is the one being disrespectful. His team won the championship. He should be happy.

This game surprised me. I thought Maryville would win this one easily. I went to the WhiteStation/Kirby game and wasnt terribly impressed with White Station in that game. The team I saw last night looked like a different team. Julian Burton was a man among boys last night and Maryville had no answer for him. Maryville did a good job moving the ball, they just struggled bringing Burton and Anthony Hayes down. One of Burton's long TD runs, I thought he was down and then he shoots out of the pack like he was shot out of a friggin cannon. White Station looked very much like a state championship team last night. Congratulations to Coach Rutherford on a fantastic game against a very strong opponent in Maryville. Way to represent West TN football White Station!

Congrats White Station on a great season! Good to see a West Tn bring home the gold ball. Good job Maryville on a great season as well. White Station was just the better team last night and sometimes that happens. To overcome some of the adversity during the game and the "no-quit" attitude of Maryville and still bring it home, good job Coach Rutherford, Coach Means and the rest of the staff and players. Would have loved to have had that Burton kid over here at Arlington. He is something special as is Hayes.

They won every aspect of the game. There's no denying any of it. They created opportunities and took advantage of everyone that they got.

Congratulations White Station on your state championship! As for VolunteerCoach, you have no class.

It is amazingly sad to me that Maryville has done everything asked of them and that is still not enough. Maryville was in 4A and people told them that they couldn't hang with the big boys in 5A. Maryville moves up to 6A and makes it to the state title game and people start saying that Maryville couldn't compete with DII teams. Maybe you don't give the Rebels enough credit?! There has not been a team that has blown them out since like the mid 1990s. In fact, this Rebel team has less talent than the ones in years past (no Mr. Football winner) and despite that they still made it just as far as every Maryville team since 2003.

White Station is a better football team than I thought they would be. Dont understand all the trash posting after the game though. Maryville is a classy team with a lot of championships. White Station played their rear ends off! The speed of the game was a bit fast for Maryville. White Station had a big physical athletic O-Line as well! Congrats to both teams! However, I do think White Station was a better team this year!
