Just wanted to see how this years rushing yards compared against last years through 10 games. If I did the math correctly it looks like this:   2009 399 rushes 3246 yards 8.14 per carry   2

Hum...Old Pirate says this here feud is bound to leave them Cascade folkes a tearing at them jock straps. The jackets won't be too kind to yous on the creekbank. Figure the best remedy is buy a lot of duck tape and have the Cascade trainer to tape them jocks tight. Thata way a feller jest mite keep them stingers out of them jocks. OP is telling you folkes whats us SP folkes done and learned. :roflol:

Not a sore loser, they won fair and square. What is funny is the excuses as to why it wasnt a blow out. Honest answer is they aren't that much better than JC. For that matter not much if any better than a H2O or Celina. To read some of the Cascade post you would think they should already be in Cookeville. I am merely pointing out next week will be a lesson in how far they really have to go. If last night was an off night they must have been REALLY OFF to think they can go into TC and have a chance. Some were comparing rosters and saying its even.

 

If they played in TC's region they may not have made the playoffs at all. After TC, FCS and Gville this Cascade team would have fit in nicely with JC, H20, Celina and Monterey. Not a huge difference in those teams and Cascade.

 

I havent seen Jackson County play. I saw Cascade, Monterey and Clay. Cascade isnt a great team by any means, but they are better than Monterey and Clay. Monterey and Clay were horrible from what I saw.

I garuntee you that you are full of mess. I wouldn't make these Trousdale boys any madder than they already are. They are big and strong and will knock a hole in the Cascade line for their runners tor run through all night long. It is hard to win on that durn creekbank. You think im joking but im not.

Never liked providing bulletin board material either, Roy. Someone stated last week we'd be studying game film of our next opponent at halftime of the JC game. Score was tied. No need to provide those boys with added motivation.

2010

376 rushes 2775 yards 7.3 per carry

What were the stats against Gordonsville and FC? But who cares. I give you some better material for your boards. We are going to come up and smack you guys in the mouth right out of the gates. :thumb:

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
