Thought I would start this thread so that maybe the DB-Bearden thread would die. And to give all the haters a new forum to tell us how we're going to lose in the playoffs next year.

Again we agree !.I hate to admit it but you guys ARE close to becoming a powerhouse.AS for next season, these players need to start now.weight training everyone 5 days a week and speed work(cone drills, stadiums, plyo ect)Good luck

Good deal.Let's hope the guys are ready when spring comes.I went to a tire store the other day and started taking DB football,MAN !! I can't wait for next year to get started.

Can't wait to see how Swafford matures. If he gets bigger, faster, stronger then by the time he gets to his senior year, all I can say is watch out. Ty Hayworth is probably already chomping at the bit for next year.

I wouldnt worry about the haters i were you guys. They are just jealous of your program. What non-district games does DB have scheduled for next season? I would love to see you guys play Oak Ridge again, but their non-district games are already set.... (Farragut & Maryville). We (Clinton) havent scheduled our non-district games yet as far as i know. But i believe we are trying to stay closer to home with ours for the next two seasons.

Good luck to you guys next season!

    • Wouldn't the easiest move be to move McCall up to HS Principal and have Gulley take over as MS Principal?
    • Bounder, you are correct. And it is so easy today. As a civilian today, I can check my 6th grade grandson’s grades in real time. 46 years ago as a young head coach, I knew who were my weak students and would do a weekly check. A decade and 1/2 later as an administrator, I would ask guidance for attendance, and grade reports as I did my own discipline reports. 5 years later I could run all those reports in a few minutes. today Text one the Secretaries and they can create a red flag report only printing the names with D’s and F’s or attendance and discipline issues. You are not even dealing with a whole team. The only problem with modern technology is someone who might not want to know.
    • No I didn't,  I just know jellico lost a few and should in playoffs tho....but they have alot coming in the next few yrs
    • The buck stops with the head coach, he should have know if any of his players  were not making the required grades. Either he has someone checking weekly before games and reporting to him or he should do it himself.
    • Freedom Prep has discontinued their football program. These are the teams that were on their schedule in case you are looking for a game:
