You could even throw in Brandon Ghee for the Bengals. Shame he had to move after his freshman year.

John Hudson-Henry County

He won a Super Bowl Ring as the long snapper for the Baltimore Ravens.

Bill Hudson-Grove High-Paris (John's dad)

Buffalo Bills

John Hudson played at Henry County High. He played 4 years at Auburn University then was drafted by the Buddy Ryan's Philadelphia Eagles following his performance in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL. He later played 5-6 years for the NY Jets before joining the Baltimore Ravens in 2001 where he was part of the Super Bowl Champion team.

His father, Bill Hudson played college football at Memphis State and was drafted by the San Diego Chargers where he played 1 season before finishing his career after 12 years with the Buffalo Bills. His final year in Buffalo was O.J. Simpson's rookie year. Bill was an assistant principal/disciplinarian for many years at Henry County High where we all learned to "toe the line"!

Both Bill and John are members of the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame and both have roamed the Henry County Patriot sideline as coaches following their pro careers. John currently is a member of the HCHS coaching staff where he serves as an assistant under his former head coach James Counce. Even more remarkable is that John Hudson is NOT a volunteer coach showing up just in time for practice....he also is a history teacher at Henry County High!

Mcminn County - Shazzon Bradley with the Eagles

Bradley County- Linebacker? I think his name was Dale something played at UT in the 80's and went on to play at

Dallas.

Jefferson County- Had a linebacker that played in the mid 80's high school that knocked Shazzon out cold on the

opening kick-off in the first round of the playoffs in 87 I think, he went on to play many

years for the Patriots.

Maybe someone can fill in these names.

Dale Jones was the Bradley linebacker but I did not remember him playing in the NFL. I think he coaches at Appy State now.

The JeffCo LB played at Georgia (had a brother there too I believe) was Brent Collins. I think he might of had a brother that went to Georgia too, not sure though.

McMinn also had a guy that should have played in the NFL (Hubert Simpson) if he would have kept his head on straight.

The Jeff Co brothers were Todd and Brent collins. Both ended up at Carson-Newman. I know Todd played on two Superbowl Teams New England and St.Louis was lucky enought to have State Championship at Jeff Co, National Championship at C-N, and Superbowl. very nice Ring collection.
