Maryville vs Bearden

I have saw both teams play. I don't think Bearden will be able to keep this one close, Haney is a good looking kid, but I don't think Maryville will have a problem stopping him as Bearden doesn't have enough talent around him to take some of the load, therefore, stop Haney and you stop Bearden. They did have one other back, #3, a sohomore, I think, he looked pretty good, he was pretty big and just a straight ahead runner. Maryville will move the ball at will against Bearden's defense. IMO, another game that Maryville could name their score.

Well George took a knee at the one yd line to end the game , plus we were down around the 10yd line at the half and George just let the time run out .... Hopefully .... hopefully ... we won't have to hear how " Classless " we are this week ... lol

 

Maryville looked great , like a Machine . Everybody was impressive but I have to mention our Defensive Backs ... Dalton Curtis , Jay Yoakum , and Brandon Johns just might make up the best trio of defensive backs we've ever had . These guys are all great Athletes , great cover guys , and very smart players ..... but what I love the most about them is that they will absolutely come up and Slobber Knock any Receiver who catches a ball around them . These guys are great run supporters and just all around great High School Defensive backs .

 

I hope our Linebacker .. Murrin I think his name is , is ok , any news on him ?

Left this one at halftime. Workmanlike, just a really convincing win. I think this is an especially good Rebels team if one may say things at this stage of the season.
