  1. 1. Who will win?

Who gives a darn what you like.? I guess the Rebels should all just sit back and be mediocre at best so everyone else can "feel good about something. Maybe you should just go watch outward or upward or whatever its called , because "everyone's a winner".

Gentlemen... please,

I feel like I can comment on this issue since I too was "miffed" over a play at the end of the O.R. game.

The reality is, GQ called the dogs off early in the game and didn't run it up as much as he very easily could have. Was it questionable to run that play at the end of the game.... IMHO....yes, but overall, I don't think that GQ and the Rebs should be accused of running scores up.

That's as close to an apology as you'll ever get from ol' 3wiggles..:)

Sweetscience, my point was not to compare FHS and OR's lifetime records. It was to point out that at a point not too long ago Farragut had a mental block when it came to OR since no one on the team had beaten OR at any level. That is not the case anymore with OR, but is the case with Maryville. Sorry you're so sensitive.

I will say it will take a monumental effort on Farragut's part to win. It would also help if Maryville would help us out a little bit. Hopefully our Knox Co Referee Association will look kindly on us tonight and not let the Maryville mystique overshadow their sworn duty to allow us a victory.

Here is my weekly off topic tangent post. I work with a guy who grew up in south Boston and lives in Farragut. The problem is, he can't say Farragut. In fact if I typed it the way it sounds when he says it, I'd probably get suspended from the T. People from Boston sure talk funny. How do you like dem apples?

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
