Actually, if you want to get factual about it, Columbia came out of quad 2 last year, which is in the east bracket.

playing in Quad 2 doesn't make the Lions an "East TN" team....as a matter of fact...Columbia Central is located "WEST" of I-65..which is often used as the "center dividing line" which divides our beautiful state in half...as a Tennessean...you know that "most Tennesseans" prefer to divide our state in thirds...West, Middle, and East...using either method...Columbia is not an "East TN" team. I see nothing "factual" about your post other than the fact that Columbia played in Quad 2....a "fact" that most of us already knew without you pointing it out.

Again, fact in evidence. I've lived in Tennessee all of my life. I know where Columbia is. I didn't say they were an east Tennessee team, but you can't say that they are a west Tennessee team, either.

The only undisputable fact is that they did come out of the east bracket.

Which is really rather irrelevant, unless you want to say a "middle" TN team was put in the "east" bracket and cleaned up the last 2 years..... :thumb:

Again, I didn't say they were an east Tennessee team, but the inferrence was that their championship should somehow prove how inferior east Tennessee football is to west Tennessee football in the original discussion.

I have gone back over all of my posts...I have yet to see where I or anyone else said that Columbia was a West TN team!

well...to get back on subject...who's gonna be the last 4 teams in? If the season had ended last Friday...here are those last 4 schools;

Centennial still left to play- Ravenwood, Shelbyville, & Hillsboro

Station Camp still left to play- Wilson Central, & Portland

Anderson County still left to play- Karns, Hardin Valley, & Clinton

Cleveland still left to play- Soddy Daisy, Bradley Central, & Rhea County

Does Centennial go 2 out of 3...losing to Shelbyville?

Can the Station Camp Bison finish 2-0?

Will Anderson County stay in the hunt? They are 3-4 while Karns is 5-3 and Hardin Valley is 5-2...

Can the Cleveland Blue Raiders stay alive? Soddy Daisy is 3-4, Bradley Central is 5-2, while Rhea Co. is 0-7!

Thoughts???

I believe your spot on with Centennial and Station Camp. I think Anderson Co. will go 2-1. I don't see them beating Karns, but playing for a playoff spot against Hardin Valley to get the W. Cleveland should beat Soddy Daisy and Rhea Co., but I just don't see them beating Bradley Central.

West would take that Quad in a heartbeat. The only team with a pulse is Morristown West and they have already peaked.

    • Y’all boys can’t spell discipline. Probably lead the state in personal fouls last year. Being halfway disciplined in 1 game against Smith County in 3rd round doesn’t dismiss the rest of the season. “Shoulda” won the state championship but those mouths got the best of you yet again. Marion already had a lot more retuning than y’all this year. Adding these 2 D1 kids will 100% make a major impact. Marion will stand on business this year. They haven’t forgotten. I’m just keeping it real
    • MC upgraded with 2 studs. If they can’t get it done this year with a generational speed talent in Pickett then I’m not sure they ever will. Huge favorite in the East currently.    Multiple offers from FCS calls for gold.
    • no they will be tough for sure
    • Marion just jumped ER as the favorites in the East. Two big time transfers for y’all kinfolks. Bullseye has been set now. I said it the last two years it is time and both times y’all let me down. Can’t say you’re short on talent this year or that you’re young. Time to put up or shut up. Surely y’all can get over the hump this year. I’m just keeping it real
    • Should have won by 30 last year if we played discipline at the very least. May have got 2 dogs up front but remember we have the best DL in the state on our team. Also added a 6’6” 320lb O lineman.
