Memphis Southwind- 27-5, SOS 112

Memphis East 14-9 SOS 52

Tonites final

Memphis East 87

Southwind 80

Its all over the scoreboards tonite.

You also need to keep in mind that Southwind played Arlington Country Day whom is a national powerhouse out of Florida and they also play Simeon out of Chicago as well as other teams that do not factor into the SOS on CoachT. Keep thinking about this SOS and we'll watch BTW win the Single A state championship.

And you need to keep in mind that Southwind STILL lost... Its still a cupcake schedule if you play 6 games against good teams and 25 against bad ones.

Alright...let's break this schedule down.

Southwind's district is not exactly a strong AAA Memphis district. However, they still played Ridgeway 3 times this year, beating them once and losing twice, all 3 being close games. Ridgeway, according to rivals, is ranked #9 in the nation and features one of the top players in the country in Cameron Golden. They also played Arlington Country Day who is a national powerhouse playing a national schedule. Southwind also played Chicago Simeon who is sitting at #3 in the country and is a national powerhouse as well. They also played Dyer Co. who took a hard loss tonight, but still a very good team. Also, no one on here really knows how good or bad those out of state teams that Southwind played really are. The team that Southwind lost to tonight is no slouch. Memphis East features the #12 player in the country in the class of 2013, Nick King. Anyone in Memphis can be beat on any given night and I believe tonight is a good example of that. You guys put WAYYYYY too much stock into this SOS on CoachT. I promise if some of these schools that you guys talk up played in Memphis, you'd never hear about them. Memphis is 1 of the top 3 hoop cities in America.
