TheAmbassador
Coach Wilson was a good coach for SP. The pirates will miss him this season.

D60
I really don't know if it has been said yet or not but I'll be the first if it hasn't and it something I have been saying for two years. The defense will be so much better because Danny Wilson is no longer the d coach. Look at all the big games we lost since he has been back and see how our d was unable to adapt during the game. He could scheme a good game but if they threw something different at him we were cooked. Hmmm. That's a strong statement and you're certainly entitled to your opinion, but my opinion is that you're wrong. I was there. I was on the sidelines. I know what he went through trying to stop McClendon and a few others. I heard him talking to his eyes in the pressbox. I know how he improvised and schemed. In the end it just came down to a lack of talent on the field. Not a lack of effort. Just the lack of our ability to stop a few talented players. And only a few. Most of our games were won by 30+ points. I have no doubt that Stone will do a great job, but Wilson's shoes will be hard to fill.
D60
When is Grider going to let us no this mess? I was going to go up a little early and take a few red bulls and fudge rounds and show my new Murphy Fair book to some of the people. I hope Grider is watching some film on these teams we are playing these teams we are playing at this game Saturday. If he isnt we will lose. You think im joking but im not. The bus leaves at 2:45. Play starts at 5:00 Central Time.

I bet he has second guessed himself several times in the past few year's but all in all I'm sure several other team's would have loved to have had him on there staff. Everyone can be a Monday morning coach when it's all over with but when the game is on the line that's another situation entirely. Goodluck to Coach Wilson and Goodluck to Coach Stone this year. Oh really you are play Union city and have a 350 pound center and your nose guard is at the most 150 and you can't come up with someone who weighs a little more on the sideline. I know for a fact you had 2 300 pounders and maybe they were not as good as the blevins kid or reynolds kid but they could have at least slowed the fat center down a little
MrLegit
Signal came down and ran a different set than we were expecting. I talked to coach Hale and he told me that we were not prepared and were out coached that game. He said we made no major changes during the game.
