I think Signal and SP are very similar this year. The difference with Signal is that they have played some hard teams right from the start. With that being said..

Not could. They would get destroyed. Now is Tyner so much better than SP? I will say Tyner has plenty of size and a bunch of speed and they even have some depth this year. However, they tend to play up and down more than they should. If they were focused and playing well they would beat SP. But up and down play is a lack of focus and that's not an issue for SP.

 

I had no idea that the "Rams" were a part of this thread but since we are here is my opinion...true sometimes we do play down to the competion but our games against SP a few years ago were classic battles...we lost 25-21 while driving for a td in one game and the next year we lost 28-21 on the last play of the game...could we win this year?' Maybe but get back on topic...I think SM should win because of the depth.

For what its worth, Mccallie beat Blackman in a scrimmage, and of course had no problem with Tyner.

 

For what it's worth, Who cares about what a private school has ever done? They should be killing ANYONE in the Chattanooga area! If you can recruit from ANYWHERE, no one in the area (except other privates) should even be able to stay on the field with you.

I will agree with you on the Tyner thing, but EH not going to agree there. EH is just bigger and Gatewood had a great game plan and the whole community is behind them. We are just down, EH just beat us and we shouldn't have beat them. Just my opinion.

Tyner is a storied program and anyone that takes them lightly and/or plays badly is going to get stunned. That is what happened to SM.
