SP could win this one and it would shut up most...Polk is not anywhere close to Boyd defensively but unless SP can slow down the TRAIN they have at runningback they might not have to be. SP will put up more points in this one.

Old Pirate says in order for the Pirates to be successful from here on out the OL has to get physical from the opening whistle and maintain blocks & stop watching the RBs run for their lives. It is becoming crunch time and the OL should be playing better at this point in the season. The Wildcats present a real challenge with their RBs and size while the Pirate needs to tackle better. The Pirate D appears to be in great position to make plays but poor tackling continues to plague the Pirates.

SP has one of the top backfields in the state, but their line is very, very young. Listening to the lineups on Friday, they started 4 seniors.

Offense is controlled by line play...BB whooped ya'lls line..........but not as bad as Gville will.

Have not seen SP play in person this year but all this I hear about the D "quitting" they better drag out those tackling dummies because you can't one arm tackle miller.... its going to take two or more players to stop him and you better not hit him standing strait up... if South pitts D don't step up its going to be "MILLER TIME" at polk this Friday.
