Tennessean reports that Cleveland Coach Ron Crawford has confirmed Sullivan South will replace his team as Columbia's Class 5A 1st-round foe after TSSAA tiebreaker error.

If the TSSAA does the right thing they will redo quads 1 and 2. Sullivan South has no business being sent to quad 2.

Sullivan South will have to leave in the morning to get to Columbia in time for the game. When you factor in stopping for lunch and a pre game meal. It is going to be at least a 7 hour trip because the TSSAA whose job it is to put out the brackets didn't do their jobs.

I beilieve the quadrants will be re-worked. South was originally proposed as the 8th seed playing at Powell. Knox West should return to quad 2 and the pairings rematched for each quad. I don't understand why it is such a big deal to get it right for all parties . The hard part is done....Cleveland has been informed that they did not make it in.

And let's just say they win... Then where to? And then where to? The TSSAA is basically saying your not good enough to win so let's just get it over with and move on to othe teams we think will win. Do the right thing guys. You already screwed up once don't make it 2 times.

They are not going to redo the brackets. The official email from the TSSAA that I received a few minutes ago simply says that Sullivan South will replace Cleveland and play Columbia in the first round to "affect the least amount of teams as possible".

Justin Lamb of the Columbia Daily Herald is reporting Sullivan South is Columbia's first opponent. As crazy as it is, it is the best solution to the problem. Coaches have already traded and started working on game plans. No way you can shuffle the whole thing around.
