Five turnovers for DB tonight. Not that they would of won with no turnovers but it would of been a much tighter game. Good job by the offense and Clark did a good job with play calling. We moved the ball pretty well on Maryville and had their defense tired in the forth quarter. Our defense just couldn't slow them down.

Good season indians No shame in getting knocked out by Maryville. Us Devils can relate to how you guys feel right now. My guess is both teams that put us out are headed for Gold Balls...Fulton is pulling away from LA right now too....see you guys in our anual scrimmage next year...have a good offseason ( as best we can) and good luck on the hardwood

Devil man Grenville also went down to 4A to play weaker teams and that's the only reason you all ever won a state title. If you stayed in 5A you wouldn't even make it to the semis lol

That's what you think. Playing where they shld be just like DB and a bunch of others. I know it's hard to accept that GREENEVILLE has won those titles. It's ok to be jealous. Wanna see those rings?

well the chances were there but way too many mistakes. I'm guessing that DB won the time of possession battle by a mile just like coach wanted to do and just like Waco predicted it didn't work. Discipline was terrible...way too many penalties (of course I don't agree with a few of them but that didn't beat them)

Elizabethton does not go to Knoxville to play any teams like DB does. All I am saying is why don't they replace Clinton with Maryville?

 

Elizabethton goes to North Carolina due to cost savings and play teams there.

Excellent point. Start playing some competition. You couldn't handle 5A and now it seems you can't handle 4A, so you certainly can't handle 6A. Congrats on the championships but get real with the Greeneville - DB comparisons.
