TSSAA Board of Control Class AA Changes

Loudon has been moved from District 4-AA to District 5-AA.

 

The board denies a request to move Cascade from District 12-AA to District 7-AA.

 

The board approves moving to Lewis County from District 12-AA to District 11-AA.

 

The board approves to move Fairview from District 12-AA to District 9-AA.

 

The board now discussing moving Fairview from District 9-AA to District 11-AA. They have been a member of District 9-AA for six minutes.

 

The board approves moving Fairview from District 9-AA to District 11-AA. The Yellowjackets spent nine minutes in District 9-AA.

 

The board denies moving CPA from District 12-AA to District 10-AA.

 

The board approves all the Class AA districts.

11-AA is now:

 

Camden, Hickman, East Hickman, Lewis, Fairview, Creek Wood, Waverly, Stewart, Montgomery Central.........8 district games and 2 non-district games for everyone?????

 

9-AA is now:

 

Cheatham, Sycamore, Harpeth, Westmoreland, Greenbrier, White House, and White House-Heritage

 

12-AA is now:

 

Page, Spring Hill, Cascade, CPA, Giles, and Marshall..........they have to be thinking "where did everyone go?????"

 

10-AA is now:

 

East Literature, Lipscomb, Pearl-Cohn, Stratford, Whites Creek, and Maplewood (CPA is gone to 12-AA)

 

8-AA is now:

 

Macon, Smith, Upperman, York, Livingston Academy, Cannon, and DeKalb

 

In other news:

 

Loudon gets out of a district with Alcoa, CAK, Knoxville Catholic, Scott, and Kingston and gets into a district with McMinn Central, Polk, Sequoyah, and Sweetwater..........the Redskins Nation is jumping for joy on this day!

Interesting to see that Cascade was willing to travel to 7-AA to get away from Giles and CPA. Should have let them.

Poor Cascade (if these are the final districts) they get bumped up to AAA and now are going to be the only AAA team in a district with Giles, CPA, Marshall (as talented as anyone, just no leadership), and Page (who can be as tough a game as any)

 

At least Spring Hill is in the district for cascade to play

Moving Fairview and Lewis to 11AA is absolutely a joke.

A region with a nine team district and a six team district. This is about politics and Bryan True and the Board of Control should be embaressed and removed and why the board of control has know business setting up districts. It also shows why the six class system is not working this was all about two things getting away from CPA and getting in a better district for football. Embarrasing to all who voted for this.

I think it is all about one thing- getting out of CPA's district and is also about not just football but basketball and soccer.
