Milan at CPA. The Rematch

I've been trying to find Milan's stats for the year but have been unsuccessful. CPA has about 3000 yards rushing and 2000 yards passing for the year The last 7 games have been at least 50%+ passing.

I think the main key for the game is how Milan handles CPA's passing game. If they sell out to covering the.pass can CPA run the ball?

hey these arent official but around 2500 rushing yards and 1100 in the air. we run 90% of time. Milan has struggled with the pass defense this year but run defense is very stout

That's only 3,600 yards in 13 games. They have to have more yards than that. Cheatham had 5,000 rushing and 500 passing for a total of 5,500 yards. There's no way Cheatham hade 2,000 yards of offense more than Milan.

I agree...... that's probably not correct. But I bet its not much over 4,000yds. Milan averages close to 40pts a game (about 38... I think). But alot of their points are scored by an opportunistic defense that gives them a short field.

In the words of "Dan the Man" from 101.5 FM Jackson TN, The Milan Bulldogs

are gonna beat CPA like a Rented Mule!! LoL. Good luck to all the players

at CPA, hope its a classic and injury free game.

The Milan faithful will be sending the players, coaches and band off at 1 30

and the Purple caravan will soon follow.

    • Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
