Hot as in winning when it matters. Must be doing something right to be leaving tomorrow with either gold or silver. Where does all this anti Lake come from? Jealous because the Lady has been coaching circles around your team or something? Win, lose, or draw those Falcons EARNED the right to be there and should be one heck of a game tomorrow afternoon.

She's definitely one of the best coaches I've seen in any division, boys or girls. I can see colleges trying to nab her in the future, maybe for a women's program.

That being said, she seems to love where she is and it would probably take a lot to get her to leave if she even will.

I do think Humboldt will win, though. They are an extremely good team...especially to have no sensors that play any kind of roles...

<p>Doesnt matter what hapened the past 4 games,Humboldt has looked good in the tournament except for the second half tonight.Lake Co knows Bradford is going to play zone and have Bradford at the top of the key on defense,Also knows that they arnt going to let Zay do some things. But Lake Co also knows Humboldt has two shooters in Turner and Bradford,Woulnt think they will let Turner get the open looks he had in the first half,They also know Bradford knows LC and thinks he can go to the basket at will,So he will get eiter a layup or if LC comes up on him,he is going to pass underneath the basket for%2

FrankieD12 sounds like a UC fan to me. One thing has been lost in this and it's the fact both teams won on their home courts but struggled on the others. This is as neutral as it gets. I don't get the whole Humboldt is so much better hype. They are good and I respect their players and coaches....but by gosh we are good to and HAVE BEATEN THEM THIS YEAR! Now LC just needs to take the gold ball home to Tiptonville. Humboldt can visit it each year! Go Falcons!

Frankie let me explain hot team to you since you do not seem to understand it. The Falcons have won elimination games at Greenfield, at McKenzie, and in Humboldt vs UC. Then on the road in Memphis vs. MAHS!! The Falcons have won both games in the boro, in OT by 1 or 21 doesn't matter they won to get here. In 3 Years Coach B and LC are 6-1 in Murfreesboro so I would call that hot. They have improved tremendously from early in the year so it is what it is. Humboldt has great talent and are very good but maybe little ole LC can find a way to pull the upset.

GURU not as idiotic as that "falcons won't be there" quote you made not long ago!!LOL that's funny right there I don't care who you are that's funny!! to steal a line from my boy Larry the Cable guy.

At first it started out that Lake Co. wouldn't be in Murfreesboro.... then it got changed to Lake Co. wouldn't make it past the first round....then it got changed to Lake Co. wouldn't make it to the championship.... now it's the idiot calling Lake Co. fans idiots.... makes tons of sense. Thanks guru.... Perry Co. should be embarrassed to have someone like you posting on behalf of their representation.

Very proud of Humboldt and Lake County. Proud that our TCA boys had the privilege of playing both teams. What's interesting is that there are 4 to 5 teams from 14A that have been sitting home for a couple of weeks that would beat most of the A teams in the boro. I know South Fulton, Union City and Greenfield are better than most of these teams and Bradford would give them a run for their money. 15A has some teams that are better as well. TCA, Riverside, Middleton and Adamsville would beat most of these teams but hey that's the way it goes in tournament play. I do think Wartburg is a legit top 3 or 4 team in the state. After watching Fountain in person I can tell you he is the real deal! Wartburg never gave up and played their hearts out. Congrats to Wartburg on a great season. They deserved to be there. By the way, lake County and Barger are the real deal as well!!

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
