Roy I'd rather have PowerP or Pegleg more than that Rankin man!!

Are you joking me? We dont need these two coaching our boys. They stole my Murphy Fair book. Powerp also makes these other coaches real mad with his mercy rule mess. Has this pegleg man and Powerp man coached football before? If this pegleg man coaches like he flies his plane, then it is not very good. You think im joking but im not.

Don't worry, Roy. That Price man is just about as likely to take a step down to coach South Pitt as that Rankin man is. :P

I was talking to a man in Foodland earlier today and he told me that Rankin man was going to interview for the job and if he got it he was going to play that Price man next year. You think im joking but im not.

I was shocked to hear the news last night, but it is understandable. Coaching takes away from your personal and family life and 16 years is a long time. I have heard the new coach will not come from within the current staff so whoever becomes the new coach will get to start with a talented team their first year. The Pirates should be the favorite for the 1A title next year with the only missing piece being the new head coach.

i don't understand why the new coach wouldnt come from within. You know there bound to be some great coaches under coach Grider. He must want someone that is not that familiar with sp?

    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
    • Hey, I am a big fan of LC even before my friend SC got that job.  Every time I have been down there for a game, their fans have showed up and stayed positive cheering on the boys regardless of the score.  I think they have great support and great potential.  I'm coming down for some home games this year for sure.  I'm pulling for LC.
    • They didn't erect one of Zeller when he took them to the Quarter Finals in 2011 getting beat by a TD by Powell and Dy'Shawn mobley or in 2012 when they went 9-3 and finished 2nd in the conference behind Maryville. (That conference was stacked too with teams like Maryville, Catholic, West, Farragut, and Bearden)
