My only advice would be is not to hire the traveling salesman coach who is just looking to coach talent. ( example a coach who has 5 jobs in 10 years)There will be alot of coaches just trying to get at S.P. just to boost their resume. Get someone who cares about your community and kids. Not just trying to win the gold ball.

i think burley was right earlier, they should find someone that plans on staying a good long time. It will have to be someone with alot of confidence to follow coach Grider, it will be like following bear bryant at alabama except worse, a man does not want to get on the wrong side of Roy Dillard, the unofficial sheriff of south pitt

If SP is going to hire a winner with a good playoff history, what about Tim Daniels? He should be recovered from heart surgery soon and the lure of SP is very tempting for a coach of his caliber.

Old Pirate says SP DOES not want to be like other area programs that have a coaching carousel.....Stability....is the key ingredient to long lasting success!!!!!!!! Recon that means old poots need not apply........
