9-AAA Prediction time

If Williams got replaced, no offense to anyone, but Roger Perry does not make my short list. He would not even be my #1 choice out of other district coaches. Anybody who knows me also knows that I am no fan of the wing-t. It has been tried here and failed. It ain't gonna happen. Losing to Portland was painful last year but beating Hendersonville eased some of that pain. The schedule is a lot more favorable this year than last.

 

Hendersonville lost to Gallatin and Lebanon last fall. That cost them the playoffs and they'll play with a chip on their shoulder. I promise you that their players have been reminded of this every single day since last Thanksgiving.

Don't think for one second the Gallatin players haven't been reminded about how bad last year was and how they do not want to repeat it either.

I just find it funny how everyone uses losing to Portland as a barometer of how bad their season went. LOL, love being the underdog, but, being the smallest normally makes it that way. We accept it and move on. Good luck to everyone this year, dead period coming up. Praying for a safe season for everyones team.

Portland sucks. That's why. Gallatin sucks for losing to Portland. If you lose to Portland your coach should be fired. Roger Perry will be at Gallatin or station camp next year. Book it. Portland should be with Westmoreland region. That way they have a chance.

I doubt Roger Perry goes anywhere north of the river. Southernfried, Portland has had one good year since joining district 9-AAA and with the three terrible years prior they get used as a gauge of your program. Gallatin had a terrible year last year. Cannot dispute that. However, the schedule was a lot easier for Portland than Gallatin's. Irrelevant now. I am not sure Gallatin could have done better with their opponents either. Last year, injuries played a huge part of their lack of success. That is what chick2hot fails to acknowledge. Lots of new coaches on Gallatin's sidelines this year.

I did not know this. It should be with Hurd and Malone being on display.

Chick, what makes you think the Coach Perry will be leaving for Station Camp , Gallatin or leaving MJ at all ?

Perry wants to coach. They both would take him. It will be up to him.

He is and will be coaching at MJ. Would not leave and compete in same district as his son.
