87vikingalumni
Well, if Humboldt plays like they did tonight it's going to be a long night, don't know which team will show up! I'm a realist, so I'll predict Humboldt wins in a close one or UC wins by 21!!

Atlas
I say the same thing for UC in every game. I just hope we compete, play physical, and limit fumbles. In games we have done that, we have been a hand full to play against. In games we haven't (Mckenzie with 9 fumbles) we lost. Humboldt will have a lot of speed, confidence, and a sense of invincibility being ranked #1 and being undefeated. I just hope we do what we do (compete, play physical, limit fumbles). Don't know about thinking we are invincibility & rankings mean nothing unless your holding up the championship trophy at the end of season!! Speed doesn't mean anything if you don't execute on offense & Defense, best half we played was against Mckenzie in the second half but still haven't played four quarters of good football! Vikings have a lot of things to correct before next week & the only positive is McLilly will be back but don't know if he'll make a difference yet since he hasn't played all season! I'm with you on that Atlas . We must play fundamentally sou d football. Compete be physical and no fumbles. Humboldt has had great success because they are a great football team. To think otherwise would be a huge mistake. I know LC played them close and they have been in some tihht games this season but they find a way to win. That's what concerns me the most. They could be one of those teams that plays to the competition. Which means that we could see a totally different team come Friday night. I have no doubt our guys will be rady to meet the challenge

I'm hoping that your right & they play up to their competition! So, I'm going to make that drive from Nashville to see this game & hoping I'm not wasting a trip!! 87vikingalumni
This should be a dandy I hope so but I just don't know which Viking team will show up. If, the team from the second half against McKenzie shows up then I like our chances!
BIGPURPLEMACHINE
If Humboldt really is the #1 team in 1A..... they need to prove it here. Great teams beat really good teams!!
