Ha Ha.......not many WB graduates know what it means to be true to your school.....lol

It's kinda odd actually, how Alnwick High has gone from a school with a stranglehold on discipline (think Jim French and Coach Cochran) and a 5-5 football program in the 80's to a school with NO discipline and program that struggles to win mor than one game a year. They can even wear shorts to school now. What is that?

I think Ridge is capable. The number one thing he needs is someone that can run an offense and call plays. The play caling was horrid this season. The have some great athletes at WB but great athletes has to have great minds to coach them. They have one of the best QB's in the district and no blocking. We need more than 6 offensive plays and someone that can call them. Like I said the play calling was horrid this season.

You have to agree Big Dave.

this. But its also worth noting that the defense was terrible too. Probably the worst WB defense i have ever seen, and thats saying something! I think defense needs to be the emphasis because they gave up way too many big plays last year. If the defense could have came up with stops they would have been respectable last year despite the inconsistent offense.

    • Starting to pick up for Sam. He has 4 or 5 offers now and more on the way. By mid season the Warriors should have 5 or 6 kids with offers.
    • Gleason all over west Carroll in scrimmage. Gleason is big and fast
    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
