hsfootballfan777
Matt Lowe will pull a Lane Kiffin sorta and leave Kings right down the street for Seymour. Why would anyone coach there at Kings after working your tail off to build the program only to have the Basketball Coach(who has done so in the past) wish the Football Team not compete in a Bowl Game(the first ever postseason for Kings) because he didn't want any of his players hurt. They had a shot to play Tri Cities christian in a Bowl Game and Clinton in a charity 11th game at Grace. BigDave1967
Good hire if Seymour can seal the deal!

redandblack63
Not according to HTV who knows everything Matt Lowe. I tend to agree though. Regardless of facilities, financial commitment, etc. Not sure Kings will provide the competition Matt desires. According to HTV he has moved to Seymore so who knows. Don't know everything Matt Lowe. He's just a good friend and a guy who is where he wants to be right now. I worked with him for a long time. When he tells me something I take him at his word. He hasn't moved to Seymour yet, by the way.
BarneySox2007
Life is short Matt Lowe, don't spend it at a dead end road. Take the Seymour job and don't look back.
hsfootballfan777
When you are building a program and a much needed Bowl Game/11Th game can provide a boost is snuffed out because the Hoops Coach wants to get his season started well I can't imagine Matt liking that.I have heard also though that kids from West Knox,Powell,Eastern Kentucky have been calling wanting to play for Matt. They need that but the whole system needs to work together.i have seen the same thing years ago at Scott and other schools with sports conflicts
PlayoffJ
Was around Coach Lowe for a weekend at Kings this fall and he seemed enthused about their program and the task he had. With what success they had (for Kings Academy) I don't see him leaving this year.
Pioneer28
Not sure about Lowe moving that soon. Who ever takes it has a lot of work ahead. Need to recruit the halls. There is talent there, just have to find someone to get them out there. Will be interesting to see if there is even much interest in the job. Not as appealing as locals think. BarneySox2007
When a basketball coach wants to wear the Kings Crown at any school it's not smart for a good football coach to hang around.
