Red Rebels
No actually a three starter on both sides of ball. Left Blount County when I was 20 years and haven't lived there since. So no my kids don't play there either which is a good thing since I only have girls. I am not a Alcoa trader but facts are facts. They recruit and for TSSAA to allow it to go for so long is a disgrace. What is even worse you fans admit and even brag about it. That is what has turned me away not the school or the pride that I took from the school as student and player. Its the fans that brag how good we are and how many championship we have and then turn around and admit we recruit. How much was tuition when you went there? It's still a bargain. UpperCumberlandMan
Before UH joined the district 8aa I had never heard ofthem in football. I had in baseball, but now they might be changing things. Probably can't hang with Alcoa. One great player can't compete with 5-6 great players. Just like 5-6 great players can compete with 10-12 great players(Maryville). Congrats to both teams. Alcoa has earned respect, and now so has UH. Good luck to both teams. cda1
What defense? The one that held ND to 10 points tonight and if not for one drive in the second quarter which nearly ate up 70 yards and a late second quarter interception they may would have shut them out. alcoachoochoo
Those gold balls are the only recruiting tool we have it speaks for its self. We don't recruit ball players. The ones that want to win find the schools we just house them.... They learn for Coach Sabin when he walks into a living room and sits down and throws all his championship rings on the table and says this is what you can get here. All I can tell you is olé Sunshine better strap it up and get ready for that nasty D-Line they are ruthless and Very Very physical........... You guys sound like you need some French cries and wha bugers........ It's dirt Boy dont try to spruce it up........ Choo....Choo........ Goon squad great performance tonight way to step it up little eannis
cda1
What defense? It is so funny a team has one bad night on defense and all of sudden they have a horrible defense. The team has played 13 games. Regular season the d allowed 140 points all season but 47 of those were in the fourth quarter by mostly young players. In the playoffs Grundy scored 20 but 8 in the fourth quarter after all starters were out. The big, strong and fast ND offense scored 10. Only Tyner did they give over 40 points in a single game and that was after two weeks of losing d starters.

A stupid and ill-informed comment, but still a comment!
