Alcoa v. CPA 3A Championship

Recommended Posts

Yes, most if not all the 3A teams we played had kids going both ways. Sounds as if Alcoa does not though.

We played 6A Brentwood and they did not have kids going both ways except on a few key downs.

We have a great strenghth conditioning program and will have to compensate that way.

It makes a big difference if you got guys only going one way but down here at Lewis Co we have to go both ways!

With 68 players you would think you would not have to play lineman both ways? Only need three on D with CPA running a 3-4.......??

Thinking "lesser" is another fake FS poster. Only been on a few days, with just a few posts. Very elaborate scheme!

Hey Coachrus, I think its time you clear things up and tell me you're sorry for calling me a fake poster for Alcoa. By the way, you never did tell me the school you pull for.

Go Alcoa!

We are all hanging out at the cement pond awaiting Friday. We will be representin......

Cool.

Since you guys are new at this stuff, I'll just let you know that they don't take credit cards at the gate at these things.

And there is no valet parking.

I know that is what you guys are used to, but now at least you can prepare accordingly.

Go Alcoee.

Amen.

Well this ain't our first rodeo, been there a couple of times. True, it was the "boro", but can't be that much different. Don't need to worry about the valet parking, the limo drivers usually take care of those incidentals for us.

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
