Rankin....THE COACH won at Riverdale...and now he has brought it to Alcoa...the Coach, not the classification....Same as GQ...won in 5A and steam rollin thru 6A......but them Owls are coming!!!

For a guy that "states facts", you should know GQ never won a title in 5A moron.

It is interesting to hear these conversations, but for arguments sake, if McMinn County and McMinn Central fielded studs from each of their schools they would see success just as an Alcoa.  The interesting thing about Blount is the amount of schools in such close proximity. I would say that football players (Studs) from William Blount, Heritage, are lost to Alcoa and Maryville from the feeder programs.

There's no doubt Rankin is one of the states best. But when you have as many studs as Alcoa does, it makes coaching a lot easier. My point is Alcoa had tons of success before he arrived. He left Riverdale for a reason.
