Good assessment Gwave1, hope #30 for Gallatin is okay. After seeing GHS, WHHS, and HHS in one day I know 3 sets of coaches who are glad this is spring practice and not August. Lots to look forward to for all 3. By the way Banks is the real deal.

He does have some speed doesn't he. I thought several played well considering the length of time they practiced. Yet, a whole lot to work on.

I have heard #30 had an ACL. Hope I am wrong. He is a hard worker.

Heard some Gallatin players could transfer to station camp. Just rumors.

Looked like some Station Camp players wanted to come to Gallatin with those up there watching the scrimmage.

If you are afraid of competition and want to transfer then go. Gallatin is built on tradition and if you do not want to be apart of that then ok. My main problem is if you have been practicing or playing for EITHER team then you sit out a year!

GWave, how big is Banks ? I heard he does have good speed. Any further word on #30 ?.

I would say he is 5-8 or 5-9 about 170lbs. That is just looking at him from a distance. He was reported to have run a 4.3 at one of the camps he has attended in the past. He definitely was faster than White House on his int return for a score.

Big blow to Caleb Kingrey. He is a hard worker and team leader. He goes to the Doctor on Monday. Could be ACL. Hope it is not that bad.

Expected a better performance by the team picked second in 9AAA. I know it is only May but 22-16 win over a much smaller school isn't what I expected. Still see Gallatin as a middle of the district team at best in 2014.

If all you care about is the score of the scrimmage, then you miss the point of having spring and summer practice to begin with

Agreed, scores don't mean a lot at this point. i know Hville will play a ton of guys tomorrow against Smyrna trying to see who can help in the fall. In the competitive part of the scrimmage will play around 25 guys on D and a like number on O. Several position changes have been made along

with just wanting to see how guys will step up. It's about competing more than anything. Remember several teams that "won" scrimmages in the spring last year who did not win a lot in the fall.

4.3 is blazing. Definitely a game changer. I hope Kingrey gets a good report from the doc. Thoughts and prayers fro the young man.

Mondo, what time is Hendersonville scrimmage with Smyrna tomorrow? Is it at H'ville ? I would think Kyle Smith ( #3 at MJ last year ) will be the big weapon for Smyrna; but then Smyrna always has athletes.
