The Oak Ridge defense is going to be tough to deal with as the season goes on. OR will shut down Clinton.

I hope so. Unless we get a lot of injuries it's going to be really good. To shutout Farragut who put up almost 30 on DB last week is pretty impressive. Especially impressive being they had already had a game and had a week to work out kinks.

Very well. IMO honest opinion I thought he outplayed Gilliam the Farragut Wake Forrest signee.Darel's name was called a lot tonight.

Darel is an sec player talent wise if he can keep his act together we will see him at a big time program.

This is the best defensive effort I have seen from an Oak Ridge team in quite some time.  I think that Farragut played a great game as well on defense.  They fixed a lot of things that were wrong from the week before.  Lots to work to do on offensive, but that will come as we get more game experience. IMO, we need to ditch the short yardage formations until we show that we can control tempo with our spread game. 

 

Our defense will see a much better QB next week, so we need to work hard this week.

I came away from the game with the following observations:

 

Our defense is tough.....Our kicker can kick but doesn't seem to punt very well....Our offensive line is not very good....We have two QBs who are adequate....We have no speed at running back....We are going to be pretty good because we beat Farragut who had a game under their belt and almost beat DB....Our punt returner is great....Our secondary is better than in recent memory....Clinton will give us trouble....Our offensive line needs to be overhauled....Our offensive line had better improve....

Yes. IMO they are. Maryville fans used to be bad but they have calmed down a lot. I think they have gotten bored. I guess knowing you are going to win every single week will do that to you.
