I'm from Maryville and very impressed with what I saw today from both teams. Couldn't have asked for a better game.

I DVR'd the game because I had to work today while it was going on. Just watched it. Came away very impressed with Jennings @ QB for Blackman. I don't care who Blackman plays the rest of the season be it Oakland, Maryville, or whoever. That guy is the kind of player teams have to turn over their whole defensive scheme to keep him locked up. And if you do that then you are going to have to worry about Davidson. He may have been more impressive than even Jennings in my opinion. He isn't real big, but he is strong as an ox. Ochoa at MLB is a man and did somebody say he is only a Soph? Good grief lol. Now we know why Riverdale was so dominant back in the day and why they aren't so much now. I am sure a lot of these Blackman kids would've been going there I assume? All in all a great game to watch and both teams competed very hard. Great athletes on both sides, but Blackman was clearly the better team today. Congrats to them.

I doubt Maryville could beat either team at this point in the season. By the end of the season it will hard to pick against Maryville. I thought Oakland was the more talented, but they didn't have a Jennings. As for Oakland's offense....don't think they utilize their weapons very well. Oakland's QB is an excellent player.

Yeah it is safe to say both teams are definitely more physically talented than Maryville is, but Maryville has beaten a lot of superior talented teams in the past. Always gotta factor in their superior coaching. They are blessed to have the best staff out there.

Sure doesn't look that big. But yes that's bigger than I thought. I thought he looked about 190 on TV.

He fluctuates from 215-220 from week to week but please plays at no less than 215
