Blackman definitely is for real I didn't expect total domination of Oakland! Looks like Blackman will probably be facing Maryville again come Playoff time.

 

Keep in mind this was the first game that Oakland played in its new offense under extremely warm conditions. They will have a chance to get revenge.

I agree. The re-match will be a good one. However Blackman made a statement in the trenches. Early on it looked like Oakland might have the advantage. But, as the game progressed the Blackman linemen started to dominate the o-line of Oakland. ...

Many would've thought that Oakland was going to run away with that playoff game last year too, so don't think that the same thing might not happen if these two were to meet again in the playoffs. I personally have lost all 3 of my high school playoff games to a team that we had previously handily beaten in the regular season. Redemption games are much harder to win.

I TOLD YOU MIDDLETENNESSE MAN!! IT WAS SOMETHING ABOUT BLACKMAN THAT I THOUGHT GAVE THEM THE EDGE...I DID DISAGREE ON JENNINGS RUNNING LATE BUT I KNEW THAT D-LINE THAT YOU SAID WAS NEW AND LOST THE COACH WOULD COME UP BIG....AND THE FACT THAT OAKLAND HAS A NEW SIGNAL CALLER....EVEN WITH ALL THAT D1 TALENT ON THE FRONT LINE ..COULDN'T DOMINATE BLACKMAN'S D-LINE.... Ill have to say, I didnt forsee a scenario where Blackman would dominate both sides of line of scrimmage and hold Oakland to under 100 yards rushing. Should be an even better game when these two teams meet in the quarterfinals
