*Do Not Bring back the Regions, just keep it the Districts!

*Do not bring back the whole "Region 1 #1 v Region 2 #4" thing either, too much predictability and you know who will play who, this will render the selection show useless!

*Have all 6 Classes even, Have 32 teams make the playoffs in all 6, and have 4 quadrants with teams seeded 1-8 (Preferred), OR have 8 Quadrants with teams Seeded 1-4, based on overalls, not geographical reasons either!

*Have only the District Winners be the only ones that get an Automatic Bid to the playoffs, District Winners only!, and then Wild Cards!

*Have 16 Districts in each classification with the winners getting the Auto Bids, in each Classification, you have 16 Automatic Bids (District Winners) and 16 At Large Bids (Everyone Else!)

*Top Teams and best Teams via overall Body of Work get Seeding Priority, no longer District Champions get Seeding Priority.

*For Teams with Equal Records and Equal Body of Work that DO NOT make the playoffs/field of 32, Have Bowl Games, 1 Bowl Game for each classification to be Played at Neutral Sites!

*Have the Brackets announced on Sunday, TSSAA Selection Sunday after Week 10 is concluded!

*Higher Seeds get home Field Advantage until the State Finals, in the case of Multiple Seeds, the Seed with the better Record gets home field advantage!

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
