Went to that game and watched the first half, Seymour is just plain bad not taking anything from Heritage.

Just received word that on his way home tonight Hammontree spotted WB in his rearview mirror. They were stalled out dropping into the realm of 4th best team in the county.

I think this game will be competitive because Hammontree is a good coach. But IMO WB is going to really have to crap the bed to lose this one.

Haha now that is funny. Russell won more games over there than any coach has in over a decade up to this point and ya'll want to dog him? If Rewis could have won with that talent how come they were 1-9 the year before and got blown out by an injury depleted WB team?

Gotta call you out on this because I believe Tommy Rewis won more games and has coached at heritage longer than any coach since Danny Wilson.

Huh?!? You have got to be kidding me. The teams Heritage beat that year were terrible. In 09 ya'll beat a very good Knoxville Catholic team that was 1 year removed from winning a state title and had Scott Meadows as a coach. Knox Catholic only lost to Maryville by a td that year if that tells you anything. I don't know if you know this or not but Scott Meadows is a pretty good coach. :popcorneater:

And that program at Catholic began to go down the toilet that season

Oh yeah? Well tell me this. Who has faced tougher competition the past 3 games. WB or Heritage? Of course WB has. And you look at the history between these two teams and WB always finds a way to win. Heritage couldn't get it done in '09 at home with a division 1 athlete, so what makes you think it will be any different this year? As I recall heritage was undefeated going into that game and WB had only won 1 game and heritage was doing a whole lot of talking. It will be the exact same thing this year. Until Heritage proves that they can beat us on the field it is foolish to pick them over us.

      Y’all boys can’t spell discipline. Probably lead the state in personal fouls last year. Being halfway disciplined in 1 game against Smith County in 3rd round doesn’t dismiss the rest of the season. “Shoulda” won the state championship but those mouths got the best of you yet again. Marion already had a lot more retuning than y’all this year. Adding these 2 D1 kids will 100% make a major impact. Marion will stand on business this year. They haven’t forgotten. I’m just keeping it real

      MC upgraded with 2 studs. If they can’t get it done this year with a generational speed talent in Pickett then I’m not sure they ever will. Huge favorite in the East currently.    Multiple offers from FCS calls for gold.

      Marion just jumped ER as the favorites in the East. Two big time transfers for y’all kinfolks. Bullseye has been set now. I said it the last two years it is time and both times y’all let me down. Can’t say you’re short on talent this year or that you’re young. Time to put up or shut up. Surely y’all can get over the hump this year. I’m just keeping it real

      Should have won by 30 last year if we played discipline at the very least. May have got 2 dogs up front but remember we have the best DL in the state on our team. Also added a 6’6” 320lb O lineman.
