Just to be clear.

I'm the dad of a private school player who is in favor of the split.

The multiplier is BS and there's no fair way to balance it out so split it up.

Glad to hear that a private school supporter agree's. Here (west), the privates stand to better their programs more than the publics, yet they are solidly against the split. There are enough privates now in and around Jackson to fill their schedule (with a couple of publics) and not have to travel across the state for playoff games.

If the small and mid sized schools have to compete with private schools they should open it back up for the Ensworths and MBAs to play in AAA/6A.

Yep....See what happens when Maryville has to play the big dogs. 1A, 2A and 3A have suffered the most but it is really not football but the minor sports such as soccer and softball. The privates are making big strides in basketball and baseball too. Not sure that the Childress lead association has high school athletics best interest at heart. TSSAA is sure sitting on a lot of bucks for some reason.

Slice- Like and appreciate your POV. What is bad for you guys at Boyd Buc is that you abide by the rules imposed. You do not take advantage of loopholes and gray areas regarding financial aid as some of your Chattanooga brethren. Most of your sport programs go through the same cycles as most small publics schools do.

If you have to cheat to win, dose the victory really mean anything? To some it's more important to be called champ than to be one.

It's like those guys who don't count all there strokes in golf and tell their buddies they shot 7 over par. Everyone knows the truth.

(In both golf and football)
