Maryville beat Fulton last year in the IFL for the only win ever in the IFL for Maryville.

Pointless to talk about b/c all you get are opinions. In reality with those two teams and how good they are without playing you couldn't predict an accurate finish. There are reasons of how Fulton could win and plenty reasons of how Maryville could win, both are really good teams and are the best two in Prepxtra area. What MHS has done for so long is beyond impressive. Up until these last two years Maryville would have won hands down in a runaway but these last two years Fulton has been much better and could make it interesting... Unfortunately they don't get too play. Would be great to watch!!

Wow lol I need ranger7 to chime in on this one... But fulton could compete would maryville if we get them on a night like hva we might could pull out a win but at the end of the day it will never matter. Maryville is the greatest program in tennessee history...

If I remember correctly, some local team (maybe Webb) beat Maryville in a scrimmage a few years ago.  Then, they played during the season and Maryville won by 21+ points.  GQ does not hold much value in the W/L outcome of a scrimmage.  He doesn't focus on scheming for these practices, as he's much more concerned with player/depth development, play execution, etc.

 

And if some teams in the state can compete with Maryville, so could Fulton.
