Governm
I hope you are not serious. If you want to protect your starters, talk to Ridge about not playing them the whole game in a blowout. The Govs did not play all of their starters the whole game. They had some young guys getting playing time.

Governm
Last night when I heard the score 70-6 the very first thing I thought was the SUPER 32 and Every team going to the playoff's, what a horrible joke the TSSAA is for letting something like this happen. What do you think the TSSAA should do then?
jake
The Govs did not play all of their starters the whole game. They had some young guys getting playing time. A lot of that was not by coaching decision though....by my count, we had 7 or 8 starters leave the game with "head injuries", so that was a lot of the reason you saw some young guys come in. It will be interesting to see how many of those players will be cleared to play next Thursday. Edited October 11, 2014 by jake

rebels
Don't fret 91 I'm sure GQ won't have his starters in long. Although after you guys beat the mighty Rebels on the 2 point conversion in the all important jamboree he might want a little revenge. We'll just have to wait and see. Lol Heard a few WB fans mouthing off today. It had something to do with the fact Maryville just can't seem to put people away. I almost stopped and said something. But I continued to listen while waiting at the Koger Deli. They said MHS has 42 points in the first half and only managed 3 points in the second half. If they play that way and I quote "the Govs can beat them." I didn't have the heart to bust in. Plus the person I was with had a pretty strong grip on my arm. BarneySox2007
What do you think the TSSAA should do then? I might not have a problem with a Super 32 if it were a Super 32. There just needs to be a few more teams in it to keep an 0-10 team from being rewarded a playoff spot. There needs to be some kind of computer generated power poll to select these teams not enrollment which is baloney.
BarneySox2007
Maybe WB will drop down. (sarcasm) There might be a chance WB might not have enough when they look at the new enrollments at that time. At Present they are just in by a nose and things could of changed but we don't know yet. The other problem is that the whole reason for setting it up this way was based on enrollment so it defeats the purpose if one of those schools wants to move down. What if Blackman wanted to move down, What would give WB the right to do that. There wouldn't be any and that's what I've been trying to say. This is just a bad mess in order for the T$$AA to make some money on playoff games. Go back to three or four classes where you didn't have this problem.
