I don't think that. Marion has some very good juniors as well. My nephew's best friend has a son in the junior class. They will see a little dip once the junior class graduates, but you will never again see Marion going through sub .500 seasons.

This years defense is getting better each week, and the offense is not relying on Blake as much as last year. They are limiting his carries so he will fresher on defense. And we all know defense wins games.

Mac was an offensive genius. The offense is getting better and so is the defense. Last year through 8 games the averages were

MC 46-14 and this year is 42-10. The first team D is giving up 4 points a game and a couple of those TDs were busts in coverage.

I am in agreement with you here. I believe Ross is to defense what Mccurry is to offense. Both are good at their speciality. Stats are close.

I look for CCS to challenge Marion with the pass, but the Marion machine will grind them up. Marion by 28.

The good thing about Marion's offense is they have not showed everything they have yet. They still have a few plays and formations that have not been seen yet this year. And the defense has yet to show the complete blitz package that has been installed.
