Can anyone tell me the Webb mans background? Where all has he been head coach at, and how did he do?

Nothing has been announced yet and if Coach Webb is the pick I don't think you would hear many complaints IMO but Coach Webb has coached at Lookout Valley (Chattanooga) for the past 10 or so years and has around a 500. record.  LVHS has probably averaged around 20-25 players (if that) on its roster (for as long as I can remember) as its one of the smallest 1A schools in the state.  Some (in this thread) have already questioned on if the program will survive without him.

Everyone who follows HS ball in this area has wondered what he could do if he had more to work with as everyone will tell you he's a solid coach.  He has gotten LVHS to the 2nd rd. of the 1A Playoffs twice in the past 8 years.

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
