Scott's Hill beat a bad Loretto team by a little, MTP has gotten better as the year has went on and have some really good athletes and good overall speed. Scott's Hill could have been a little intimidated on the road in their first ever playoff game, if so then they might be ok, if not then they're in trouble. MTP will give their all and are always tough! Good luck Tigers!

I think that turnovers are the key, if SH can avoid multiple giveaways they'll be in the game at the end. The Lions beat Loretto at their place by eight, MTP at home by one...doesn't matter, matchups determine outcomes more than common opponents. I hope that already having a playoff game under their belt helps, maybe they relaxed a little and didn't nail the lid shut early against the Mustangs when the opportunity was there, but maybe not...there was a lot more intensity the last 5:00 of the game from the Lions than when they were up 14-0 though...need to fix that. Talking to some of the players after the game made me feel that they will be ready Friday night...anyone who thinks that they are "satisfied" with their accomplishments is mistaken, they are hungry and confident...one told me that he wanted another shot at Adamsville...I told him to go get it.

We will gladly welcome you to the Ville. I know your guys are playing inspired football but that player needs to focus on the tigers right now. We are only focused on the panthers so we will have to wait and see

I think that they will be focused on the Tigers...just used that to show that they're not satisfied yet. They showed up ready at Loretto with a "nothing to lose" attitude, and if they can keep loose and play hard they can (said this before) give almost anyone all that they want and then some. I still say that there are a few teams over our head even with our best effort, but Mt. Pleasant isn't one of them. If we play our physical running style, contain the edges on defense, and hit the short pass enough to keep nine or ten out of the box,we'll have our chance to win.
