Oakland's play by play guys aren't any better than Maryville's. Good play by play guys are hard to find in high school football

Absolute total domination in first half by Maryville. I was pretty sure Rebels would win but thought it would be tougher than this.

I actually did "laugh out loud" listening to WGNS when the color guy said Maryville, with more than 2 minutes to go, would be happy to "get out of here" leading 14-0 at the half. Doesn't know a thing about Quarles and Maryville's history; everyone knows that Maryville has been unbelievable for years scoring right before the half. Nine plays later Maryville is up 21-0 leaving hardly any time on the clock.

What I liked was when he was saying how much taller the Maryville receiver was then the Oakland defensive back.6'5" vs 5'6",He said,let's see,he is 8" taller.I shouldn't make fun because I can equal him with my lack of spelling ability.Anyway,this game is what I've talked about all year to the rest of east TN.If you can ever get past Maryville,there are still some great teams left to win it all.I think this Oakland team could beat any other team in the state tonight.
