Atlas, I started a thread about Wilkes.The running back thst gained 165 yards against UC.More thsn UC Mr.Football candidste Henry.I know yall are going to say Henry was on a more balanced team.Yes he was, And a lot better line.But also, How in the world can a Mr.Football which is picked by a lot of coaches and writers that have seen neither play but yet csnt even be voted the MVP in the district that was voted on by coaches that have seen both play.Seems like the statewide people voting should do a better job or wait until All District teams are picked.Looks like Mr.Football nominations are tsinted.Again.Congrats to UC.And this was related to this thread as I wish Mr Football candidate well even though he wasn't MVP in his own district...Geez

I was impressed with how fast UC qb made the reads, the plays developed very quickly and ncs never had a chance if stopping it! The ncs defense done a good of a job as anybody has or will do against this offense, it's near perfect! UC coach showed a lot of confidence in his team going for it on fourth down on the first drive of the game before reaching mid field!

NCS, if you only started three seniors, you will probably begin 2015 at #1 and will remain there throughout the regular season. There will be more parity in the western regions of the state next year, so who knows how the playoffs will shake out. It will be fun to watch.

Union City will be good once again.  Maybe not as good as this year but will compete for another regional title.  Also, Trenton has many of their team this year coming back.  One of these two will once again win the district next year, U C or Trenton.

If they don't they really need to start. I'm guessing the larger schools in the state needing coaches have noticed UC the last two years.

The veer when ran the proper way (I.e. Quick/smart reads, lineman firing off the ball, and RBs that hit thier holes quick with force) is very hard to stop. An UC has all of that, with a side of rolls.

 

Also, is Henry the kid that played running back against WC in 2011? He would have been a freshman. I'm almost 100% sure it was him. I remember me and little brother talking about it. I told him UC would be good by the time he was an upper classman. I just didn't think this good lol

I'm not surprised with the point spread last night, but I was wrong about the NCS offense. I'm surprised they couldn't score. NCS was my preseason team to beat next year, but I might have to rethink it.

Very proud of our Tornadoes!!! Great game plan and execution. We competed, played physical, and limited ourselves to no lost fumbles. Let's keep it rolling this next week in Cookeville. Yet another Mr Football finalist for our lineman to match up against next week with Zach Stewart of Coalfield, a UT commit.

I will take some of your linemen any day over Stewart. The Union City linemen are burly beasts.

Stewart is several steps down from Givens. UC picks a score next week. Somewhat surprised that NCS only managed 33 yds, I figured UC would dominate but not to THAT level. Congrats
